Learning how to take back your power is a way to stop allowing others to control or manipulate or bully you.
I grew up in the beautiful valley of Fort Qu' Appelle, Saskatchewan, in the Treaty 4 territory. I love the valley, as it is so calm and serene and I have wonderful memories of walking up the hills, bike riding around the lake, sleigh riding, and picking berries. I was the youngest, raised by my mom, sisters and my loving grandmother (kokum). A big part of our culture is that we love to laugh and share stories, however, we hardly ever heard the words "I Love You". If we were loved, we were fed really good and we were expected to eat everything that was served. So, for years, I sought love outside of me, to where I dropped to my kitchen floor crying and not wanting to live anymore, because I felt so unloved.
"I am worthy" is now my daily affirmation! So, by changing my thoughts, I changed my life. My approach to helping others is based on the philosophy and teachings of the book, "You Can Heal Your Life" by Louise Hay, plus my stories of growing up and learning about why we are the way we are, of not feeling good enough.
I am not a healer, I teach simple concepts of becoming more aware of our thoughts and how we react in different situations, and you decide how you want to change your life. I am passionate about helping everyone to love who they are, although the word "love" is scary, it's easy to understand and learn how to do this, one day at a time.
As a trained and experienced Facilitator and Speaker, I can have a conversation with you to help you and/or your organization/community to believe that every individual has the potential to live a fulfilling and purposeful life.

I shared my story on how to love yourself: This is me, as a key note speaker for over 150 Health representatives that work in various Health centres in the province of Saskatchewan. However, long before this picture was taken, I had attended a women's day event at that same location, where I was seeking some kind of hope to get me through my challenges. I envisioned being able to speak on that stage, and that visit came true! So, envision how you can share your story to help others! You are worthy of being heard and respected.
I share 12 easy steps to loving yourself - utilizing humor and sharing how this works for everyone! One day or half day workshop.
Have you ever had your feelings hurt? We all experience this, the key is being able to become aware of when it's happening and sit back and reflect on what happened and what button did they push? I share how I started to love myself and establish healthier boundaries. Don't let anyone ever tell you that you are not good enough, because we are loveable and good enough! Read Louise Hay books and watch her youtube videos. I can coach you to practice this philosophy and help you to embrace change with open arms! I offer this workshop in groups, organizations, First Nation communities, and individual sessions. Email me for a free consultation.
